The structure itself has benefits as it is aerodynamic and omnidirectional meaning that it can withstand strong winds.
In terms of heat this shape is more effective because it dosen't cast a large shadow meaning that it absorbs an optimum amount of energy from the suns light aswell as not shadowing the plants which surround the dome.

I would like to know more about the choice to use the geodesic dome rather than another structure. Does it provide advantages for growing, heat circulations, etc?
