Event Description

MetaboliCity has been developing Outdoor Learning Environments for Primary School Education.

Together with staff and pupils we have co-designed a long-term plan for using the outdoors as an open and playful learning space, accommodating a fruit orchard, vegetable growing and a construction area for building with natural materials.

We are looking for a couple of volunteers with a background/ interest in sustainable building techniques as we are constructing a living classroom for plants and people using bamboo and grass.

We will be prototyping with bamboo in our studio (East London) on the 20-23rd of Sept and will then be installing/ working in the school grounds on the 27-1st Oct.
Please get in touch if you are interested or would like to know more about the project.
